Nigerian social commentator Geh Geh has advised men to carry out DNA tests to confirm the paternity of their children, saying it is necessary to prevent disputes over inheritance and family responsibilities.

He made the remarks in a video that has circulated online, revealing that he has six children with six different women and is undergoing his fifth DNA test.

“I just dey come from where I go do DNA. If you are a man and you get children, I beg you, go do DNA test,” Geh Geh said.
He added that he had instructed his family that any child without a DNA result would not be recognised as his if anything happened to him. According to him, “modern problems require modern solutions.”
Geh Geh argued that fatherhood carries the responsibility of raising and providing for children, which he described as one of the most important duties of a man.
He also spoke about inheritance practices in his tradition, claiming that when a man dies, assets such as money, houses, cars, and even a wife may be shared, but children are not. He said this makes paternity confirmation important for family clarity.
His comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some supporting DNA testing for certainty and others criticising the suggestion as distrustful or potentially harmful to children and families.
