Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has shared an incident in which she claimed that her colleague, Eniola Badmus, stopped a man who wanted to marry her from getting her phone number.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo on #WithChude, Laide spoke about her past relationship with Eniola and the events that led to their fallout.

According to Laide, Eniola once received a call from a man who said he liked Laide and wanted her contact details. She claimed Eniola told the man that he would have to pay her before she could give him Laide’s number.
Laide said she heard the man begging Eniola to connect him with her because he wanted to marry and take care of her.
She said, “Someone forced her to call me, saying, ‘I love Laide Bakare.’ She picked up and told me the man wanted to d%e on my neck. She said he would have to give her money before she gave him my contact.
“The guy was so happy talking to me. I could hear him telling Eniola to give him my contact because he wanted to marry me and take care of me, but Eniola just cut off the phone.”
Laide said that when she called Eniola back to ask what happened, Eniola insisted that any man interested in her had to go through her and pay a large amount of money.
She said she later asked Eniola about the man again, but Eniola dismissed the question.
Laide questioned why Eniola would stop a man who could have taken care of her from reaching her. She asked what she had done to deserve such treatment.
Her story adds to the ongoing public disagreement between the two actresses, whose close relationship has since broken down.
