Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to the Delta State governor, has condemned individuals accused of victim-shaming the late Favour Agbro, a 20-year-old who died by suicide following an alleged sexual assault by a content creator known as Odogwu of Asaba.

In a Facebook post, Ossai questioned why some men were circulating videos of Agbro dancing, scrutinising her personal history, and questioning her decision to travel from Warri to Asaba.

He criticised her detractors for what he described as a lack of empathy and emotional intelligence, and challenged them to consider how they would respond if the victim were their own sister or daughter.
