A 51-year-old man in South Africa was gravely hurt in a home fight that was fuelled by alcohol.
The victim’s fiancée allegedly hit him with a glass bottle while intoxicated.
On Sunday, February 1, 2026, at around 11:45, the incident occurred along Mtiyedwa Sithole Road in Phase 5, Waterloo, KZN.
The man had a head injury when Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) members got on the scene.
The man claims that the fight started when the woman asked for more money to buy more drinks.
The man apparently declined, claiming that all of the money had already been used.
The altercation got out of control and led to the attack.
The injured man was transported privately to hospital for medical treatment.
The female fled the scene prior to the arrival of First Responders.
