Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested 43-year-old Amadin Williams for allegedly murdering his childhood friend, Eghosa Osas, during a housewarming party in Oben Community, located in Nigeria’s South-South region.
According to the state police spokesperson, Eno Ikoedem, the unfortunate incident occurred while friends and family gathered to celebrate. The victim, who had recently returned from abroad, reportedly lost his life following a heated altercation with Williams.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
