Ned Nwoko unveils modern mini stadium in Delta

Delta North lawmaker, Ned Nwoko, has unveiled a newly completed modern mini stadium in Issele-Uku, describing the project as a symbol of collective progress in the region.

Speaking via a post shared on X on Tuesday, Nwoko said the stadium was designed to inspire youths, promote healthy competition, and strengthen community spirit.

“This project was conceived to inspire our youths, promote healthy competition, and strengthen community spirit,” he said.

The facility features a standard football pitch, a seven-a-side multi-sports arena, pavilions on both sides, and well-equipped dressing rooms, providing an enabling environment for sports and recreation.

“For me, every project is about impact, about giving our people access to facilities that uplift, empower, and unite.

“With this stadium, we are nurturing the next generation of athletes and leaders who will make Delta North proud,” Nwoko added.

PUNCH Online had reported that Ned Nwoko called for the establishment, development and management of ranches across all 774 local government areas and the Federal Capital Territory to enhance food security across the country.

He said that the proposal is ‘’A Bill for an Act to Provide for the Establishment, Development, and Management of Ranches in the 774 Local Government Areas and the Federal Capital Territory, to Promote Modern Livestock Farming, Curb Open Grazing, Enhance Food Security, and for Related Matters’.
