Atiku Abubakar’s attempt to make amends with Governor Nyesom Wike’s faction of the People’s Democratic Party, according to Voice of Nigeria’s director general, Osita Okechukwu, is tardy.

This was Okechukwu’s response to Atiku’s claim that the All Progressives Congress was an amalgam of Bola Tinubu’s Action Congress of Nigeria and President Major General Muhammadu Buhari’s (ret.) Congress for Progressive Change, and that he would make peace with Wike-G-5-Masquerade after the APC’s defeat in the general election of 2023.
The APC leader characterized the claim made by the PDP presidential candidate as hallucination and medication after death in a statement released in Abuja under the heading “Atiku’s effort to reconcile with Wike-G-5 -Masquerade is hampered by headwinds.”
He said that it was absurd for the former vice president to believe that the Federal Character concept of the 1999 Constitution and the pillar of justice of rotation convention applied to the PDP’s Constitution could be simply ignored.
Okechukwu yelled, “Is it not an express loss of memory for His Excellency who was a member of the new PDP that joined in the formation of the APC, to attempt to rewrite history in pursuit of his presidential ambition.” This was in response to the argument that the APC would lose the 2023 presidential election and collapse because it was a creation of Tinubu’s party and the defunct CPC.
For any northerner to consider leading the country after Buhari, a fellow northerner, completes his term in office in May 2023, he said, would be unjust and disloyal to the southern region of the nation.
This is one of the main obstacles preventing his ridiculous reunion with Wike-G-5-Masquerade, according to the report. The 2018 rotating convention, which took place during the PDP’s presidential primary in Port Harcourt, which Wike sponsored, benefited Atiku the most. He who comes to equity will arrive with clean hands, according to established rule.
