The launch of the All Progressives Congress APC Presidential Campaign Council’s campaigns, which had been originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed.
Simon Lalong, the governor of Plateau State and director general of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, made this announcement on Tuesday.
He claims that the timeline and calendar of events have been adjusted to account for the rising interest that diverse political ideologies are showing in joining the campaign council.
He said that a new time for the start will be revealed shortly.
Remember that we had previously scheduled a peace march and prayers on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, to formally launch our campaigns for the 2023 Presidential Elections? Additionally, we had said that the Campaign Council members should show up to the Campaign Headquarters on that day to pick up their letters of appointment.
To ensure that everyone is on board before activities formally begin, we have chosen to change the timetable of these activities owing to the list’s extension to include additional stakeholders and interests within the APC family. As a result, the events that were previously scheduled on September 28 will no longer take place.
We realize the sacrifices and understanding of our thronging members who are more than eager to offer themselves for this huge duty ahead since we are Nigeria’s dominant and most alluring party. Additionally, it demonstrates how deeply devoted party members are to our candidates.
“New event dates and schedules will be released shortly.”
