As part of his objectives to lower unemployment and reposition Nigeria, he made the pledge while appearing on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
“This is how you handle the situation. I came to the conclusion that we cannot produce these jobs if we solely rely on public spending. I went to the US Black Chamber of Commerce and the National Chamber of Commerce in the US because these are folks who know me well and with whom I had previously worked. I have traveled the world with several of them to promote job development as a board adviser,’ he stated on the program.
“Look, you know, we have done all of these things previously in many nations, and I have been your advisor, so we have done all of these things,” I said to them. In my nation, I am aware of the concrete conditions that may be established in order for you to visit Nigeria and for us to generate employment.
“We sat down and we looked at it in different sectors – agro-allied, alternative energy, infrastructure, health, and social services, new technologies like block chain and crypto technology – and we discovered that we can create three million jobs times 10 to 30 million jobs using 2,000 companies and bringing the production that they are doing into the country,” the author said.
