With the 2027 general election drawing closer, comedian I Go Save has said the contest will not be “business as usual.”

I Go Save, an outspoken critic of the current government, described the race as one “between the poor and the paid poor.” He made the remark in a post shared on Instagram.

Voting for the offices of President and Vice President, as well as seats in the Senate and House of Representatives, is scheduled for January 16, 2027. Elections for state governors and members of state Houses of Assembly follow on February 6, 2027.
