The NDLEA is failing in its responsibilities – Human rights activist reacts to popular President Bola Tinubu supporter Qudus saying Nigeria will stand toe to toe with US in war

Human rights activist Inibehe Effiong has criticised Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after a prominent supporter of President Bola Tinubu posted a defiant message aimed at the United States amid rising diplomatic tensions.

Effiong reposted and reacted to the message from Qudus Akanbi Eleyi, a vocal Tinubu backer, writing: “The NDLEA is failing in its responsibilities

Eleyi’s post, shared on the social platform X, directly addressed what he described as threats from abroad following U.S. comments about violence against Christians in Nigeria. He wrote in full:

“Please look at how this one is threatening our President, a threat to the President is a threat to Nigerians. America you’re human like us, you are not God.

“We will stand Toe to Toe with you if you bring any madness, that’s why we giants of Africa.”

The exchange comes after comments by U.S. leaders about alleged killings of Christians in Nigeria, which the Nigerian government has denied.
