Los Angeles – Kai Cenat swept four major categories at the 2025 Streamer Awards on December 6 at The Wiltern Theatre, but IShowSpeed snatched the night’s top prize, Streamer of the Year, in a shocking upset that ended Cenat’s reign.
Hosted by QTCinderella, the event celebrated top Twitch, YouTube, and Kick creators across 35+ categories, featuring live performances by Good Kid, Ironmouse, and Ty Dolla $ign. Cenat, a Twitch megastar, triumphed in Best Streamed Event for “Streamer University,” Best Marathon Stream for “Mafiathon 3,” Best Streamed Collab with LeBron James, and Best Just Chatting Streamer. He celebrated on X, posing with his trophies and thanking fans.
IShowSpeed, known for high-energy IRL content like his “Speed Does America” tour, secured Streamer of the Year for the second straight year, beating Cenat, ExtraEmily, and others. Speed also won Best IRL Streamer and vowed to keep pushing boundaries in 2026 during his acceptance speech.
