Oludipe David, a Nigerian musician best known by his stage name Spyro, has voiced worries about the deteriorating standard of modern music.
Spyro, a supporter of meaningful music, feels that the moral decline of society has been exacerbated by the decline of intelligent music.
“I think music has lost its inherent value, even though vibrations are wonderful. Listening to music back then would give you chills. The vibes are awesome.
“Music has lost its value, which contributes to much of the depravity in today’s culture. We are now just singing for money. A lot of us are into the business for money, not to make impact.
