Nigerian billionaire philanthropist Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata’s final request to be buried in Madina has been granted by the Saudi Arabian government.
In a brief Facebook post, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the deceased’s secretary, confirmed that the required authorisation to move Dantata’s body from Abu Dhabi to Madina has been obtained, opening the door for his burial in line with his last desires.
“Praise be to God, praise be to God, praise be to God. Approval has been obtained to transport Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina. The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow (Monday) morning, God willing,” Junaidu wrote.
Dantata passed away on Friday night, June 27, in an Abu Dhabi hospital following a brief illness. He was 94
