Mohbad: Zinoleesky’s house, cars bought under Marlian Records – ID Cabasa alleges

Following the tragic passing of Nigerian musician Mohbad, music producer and vocalist Olumide Ogunade, also known as ID Cabasa, has provided hitherto unheard-of details about Naira Marley’s Marlian Record label.

According to DAILY POST, Mohbad passed away on Tuesday of last week under mysterious circumstances, and the singer’s passing sparked a social media frenzy.

Naira Marley, the head of his old record company, and Sam Larry, a friend of Marley’s, are allegedly responsible for Mohbad’s demise.

A series of documents and videos of the duo subjecting the late singer to relentless bullying for leaving the Marlians Record had surfaced on the internet.

Reacting to the controversies during an Instagram live session on Monday night, ID Cabasa decried the alleged mistreatment that Naira Marley subjects his signees to within the confines of his record label.

The music producer alleged that the car and house Zinoleesky, one of Naira Marley’s signees had procured in recent years were bought under the label’s name, rather than in Zinoleesky’s personal name.

“I started hearing a lot of things coming from that label, that even some of the things that were bought for Zinoleesky, the house, the cars were not bought in the boy’s name.

That’s wickedness from the highest order.”

ID Cabasa has nurtured musical legends like 9ice and Olamide under his label.
