I’m Sorry, Guys’- Burna Boy Issues Public Apology Amid Tour Cancellations

At his gig in Denver, Colorado, he allegedly saw a female fan dozing off in the front row and asked to have her removed, threatening to end the performance if she wasn’t dragged out. This is how the dispute started. Online comments to this occasion, which was caught on camera, were intense.

The singer allegedly stated a preference for wealthier fans in an old film that surfaced, which made the problem worse. As a result, many people boycotted his performances, and ticket sales at numerous U.S. tour locations were dismal.

Burna Boy canceled many tour dates, including performances in Minneapolis (November 28, 2025) and Chicago (December 1, 2025), in response to the online outcry.

During a recent performance in Texas, Burna Boy directly addressed the controversy, expressing regret and attempting to mend relations with his fanbase.

In his words, he apologized for his previous remarks:

“I’m sorry, guys. It was a slip of the tongue. I apologize for what I said. I’m so sorry, everyone”
