I went to hell and back, Jamie Foxx gives update on his health

American Popular actor, Jamie Foxx, 55, has stated that he went to hell and back while battling his medical scare.

He also disclosed this on Saturday in a post shared on his Instagram page.

The actor was shooting on the set of “Back in Action”, with co-star, Cameron Diaz when he was rushed to the hospital.

Jamie Foxx didn’t give details about the health condition he suffered. The Oscar-winning actor noted that he didn’t want people to see him in that medical state.

He said, “First of all, I want to say thank you to everybody that just prayed man, and sent me messages. I cannot even begin to tell you how far it took me and how it brought me back.

“I went through something I never thought I would go through. I know a lot of people [were] waiting or wanting to hear an update, but to be honest with you, I didn’t want you to see me like that man.

“I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that man. I want you to see me laughing, having a good time partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through.

“By being quiet sometimes things get out of hand. Some people said I was blind, but my eyes are working just fine. They said that I was paralysed, I’m not paralysed, but I went to hell and back.

“To them, to God, to a lot of great medical people, I’m able to leave you this video. I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way, and y’all know they kept it airtight, they didn’t let nothing out, they protected me, and that’s what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these.”
