The well-known American rapper and businessman Kanye West has acknowledged that he no longer finds rap music to be his passion.
West claims that the genre lacks important material and does not give him useful knowledge for his business endeavors.
West expressed his dissatisfaction with modern rap on X, stating that he doesn’t know many of the up-and-coming artists.
He did, however, draw attention to Yuno Miles as a musician whose music he finds appealing.
West questioned how rap music fits into his life as a billionaire business entrepreneur, stating that it no longer offers him any significant benefits or insightful information.
“Why the f*ck would you listen to rap? I’m a 47-year-old billionaire,” he wrote. Not a single bit of information in rap is helpful.
“I don’t listen to rap. I don’t know who the f*ck is rapping anymore. Yuno Miles is likely my favourite artist.”
