The bodies of Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, close friends of international boxing champion Anthony Joshua, who tragically lost their lives in a car accident on December 29, have been flown abroad for burial.

The fatal crash occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in the Makun area of Ogun State, when the Lexus SUV they were traveling in collided with a stationary truck. Both Sina and Latif died on the spot, while Joshua sustained injuries.

Reports indicate that the two had traveled to Nigeria to spend the Christmas holidays with Joshua before the tragedy cut short their visit.

Joshua, who was hospitalized following the incident, was discharged on Wednesday evening, December 31. The bodies of the deceased have since been released to their families and transported overseas for their final rites.
