Comrade Eze-Harris Chuma-Odili, popularly known as “Eze Ogbono,” is a well-known media personality and leader in the Ogbunike community, Oyi local government area of Anambra. He collapsed during a public event.
It was learned that on Saturday, August 23, 2025, the event took place at the Igwe stool in Ogbunike town.
Witnesses reported that Chuma-Odili was enjoying himself, making small talk, and getting ready to splatter dancing women with cash when he abruptly sagged back.
He was declared dead despite attempts to resuscitate him at a neighboring hospital.
In the meantime, friends, coworkers, and associates have been posting tributes to him on social media as word of his passing has spread.
