In Minna’s Tunga neighborhood, two alleged miscreants brandishing deadly weapons have been taken into custody by Niger State Police Command agents.
In a statement released over the weekend, SP Wasiu Abiodun, the command spokesperson, revealed that two wraps of cannabis and a long, sharp knife were found on the suspects, Aliyu Abubakar and Mariam Abdullahi.
“On 5/2/2025 at about 8.30pm, a Police patrol team attached to Tudun-Wada Div intercepted and arrested two suspects in a tricycle with dangerous weapon. The suspects are; Aliyu Abubakar 25yrs and Mariam Abdullahi 22yrs both of Bosso area, Minna,” the statement read.“The suspects were arrested with a long sharp knife and two wraps of cannabis. They are under investigation in the Div and will soon be charged to court for prosecution.”
