A guy named Idowu Adebanjo has been taken into custody by Ogun State police for reportedly d#filing his daughter, who is four years old, in the Okunsanya Ijebu Igbo region of the state.
On January 15, Aderonke Adebanjo, the victim’s mother, went to the police to denounce her husband for what she believed to be a heinous conduct.
In response to the report, the police took the suspect into custody.
The victim was transported to the General Hospital in Ijebu Igbo for a medical checkup, according to CSP Omolola Odutola, the command spokeswoman, who confirmed the arrest to reporters.
She further stated that following the completion of preliminary investigations, the case will be sent to the SCID for additional action.
