Ghanaian-German model and actress Nana Akua Addo has been hospitalised after allegedly suffering domestic violence at the hands of her husband.

A video circulating online shows visible injuries sustained by the fashion icon, including swollen lips and a cut beneath her eye, with blood visible on her clothing and on the floor around her. Having reportedly lost a significant amount of blood, she was shown receiving IV infusions while being treated.

Nana married her long-time partner and the father of her children in a private civil ceremony in March 2022. She has previously spoken openly in interviews about infidelity being a recurring issue in their relationship, saying at the time that she chose to remain with him for the sake of their daughters.
