Speaking during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, alongside other people living with albinism, she said she was initially unaware that her albinism would become a factor in the hiring decision.

She said she was later informed that she was the most qualified candidate for the position, but the organisation declined to hire her because of what it described as her “condition.”
“I have been denied a job opportunity because I’m a woman with albinism. I was the most qualified. In fact, I was told,” she said.
She described the incident as reflective of the discrimination people living with albinism continue to face despite possessing the requisite qualifications and skills for available opportunities. — Editor’s note: The claim has not been independently verified, and the identities of the employer and podcast guest were not disclosed in the original account.
