Taking to his Instagram story on Sunday, May 31, 2026, the comic star urged people to shift their focus away from life’s frustrations and toward the blessings they often take for granted — starting with simply waking up each morning.

“Waking up in the morning, healthy and alive is a blessing that many people don’t have,” he stated, stressing that good health is a privilege not everyone enjoys.
Basketmouth encouraged his audience to stop letting setbacks — missed deadlines, lost jobs, failed promotions, or broken-down cars — overshadow what truly matters. As long as a person has their health and their life, he argued, they still possess something invaluable.
He then drove the message home with a candid and characteristically humorous example, pointing out that people rarely appreciate certain parts of their body until something goes wrong. He used the experience of having boils on both buttocks as a vivid illustration of how quickly comfort can become a luxury.
“Suddenly, sitting becomes a luxury and a functioning buttocks becomes a blessing,” he quipped, making the case that gratitude should extend even to the most basic bodily functions people normally never think twice about.
