Initial findings suggest the suspect had been claiming to be a serving naval officer, raising security concerns that triggered further scrutiny and his eventual arrest.
He is currently in custody as investigators work to establish his true identity, uncover his motive, and determine whether he may be linked to other criminal activities.
Security authorities have reiterated that impersonating military or security personnel is a criminal offence with serious consequences, warning that such acts erode public trust and hamper security operations.
Residents of the area have been urged to stay alert and report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest security agency without delay.
