Crypto Entrepreneur Blord Granted Bail After Weeks in Kuje Prison

Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, known as Blord, has been released on bail following his detention in Kuje prison over allegations of impersonating social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan).

Activist Omoyele Sowore announced the development Friday on Facebook, stating Blord received bail on self-recognizance from the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Bail Conditions

  • Deposit international passport with the court.

  • Other undisclosed conditions apply.

Blord was arraigned April 1, 2026, and remanded pending further hearings in the impersonation case.
