Oyo Cleric Agbala Gabriel Faces Allegations of S€xual Misconduct and sc@m

Kayode Amusan, known as Agbala Gabriel, a cleric based in Ibadan, Oyo State, has been hit with serious accusations of sexual misconduct and mishandling funds raised for sick people.

For years, he built a positive online image as a compassionate pastor. His ministry often rallied support for the sick and vulnerable through social media videos showing him praying for struggling families and appealing for donations. Many Nigerians admired him for his apparent commitment to charity.

That reputation is now crumbling amid multiple claims.

One accuser, Daramola, said she initially raised funds for a woman’s surgery but stopped after the family sought Agbala Gabriel’s help. “I learned later that he abandoned them, failing to provide the promised good accommodation and surgery,” she stated. The woman’s daughter echoed this in a video, saying she removed her mother from the cleric’s care due to mishandling concerns.

As this story spread online, more allegations emerged. Popular blogger Iyalaje Courtroom claimed during a live broadcast that Agbala Gabriel mismanaged donations and had sexual relationships with women in his circle. She specifically alleged that Bolu, a former 23-year-old backup singer in his church, became pregnant by him, gave birth to twins, and is now 25. “He initially denied the pregnancy but accepted responsibility after pressure, renting a house for her and the twins,” the blogger said.

Charity advocate Princess Adeyinka backed the claim, saying she personally intervened when the issue first arose. “Agbala Gabriel impregnated Bolu and initially refused full responsibility. I begged him to step up, and he denied it at first but later did,” she recounted.  PUNCH IN DETAILS
