Lucky soul. He d!ed in Jihad – Sheikh Gumi reacts to Khamenei’s d3ath

Kaduna-based Islamic scholar Ahmad Gumi has responded to the de@th of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, offering a tribute that framed the late cleric as a martyr who died in service of a righteous cause.

Khamenei was k!lled in Tehran on Saturday, February 28, 2026, following missile strikes attributed to the United States and Israel.

In a post published on his verified Facebook page, Gumi described Khamenei as fortunate to have d!ed in what he characterised as a struggle against the k!lling of innocent civilians in Gaza and beyond. He expressed the view that the Supreme Leader’s death would serve as a catalyst for transformation within the Muslim world, and praised him for what he described as an unwavering commitment to justice and a refusal to retreat in the face of adversity.

Gumi also issued a veiled warning toward those he held responsible for Khamenei’s death, suggesting that history and time would render its own verdict on their actions.
