Tinubu’s announcement of the rescue of 38 kidnap victims in Kwara, Falz demands answers.

Following President Bola Tinubu’s announcement of the rescue of 38 people kidnapped in Kwara State, Nigerian rapper and activist Falz expressed concerns on the openness of government actions. The president announced that 50 kids abducted in Niger State and 38 victims of the Kwara church massacre had been safely returned.

Taking to social media, Falz questioned the timing and details of the rescue efforts, calling on the government to clarify how the operations were carried out and what security measures are being implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future.

He also raised questions about whether any arrests were made and what consequences, if any, the kidnappers faced.

While President Tinubu commended the security forces involved in the rescue, he provided only limited information regarding the operation’s specifics or the identities of those freed.
